How to...

If you are new to the world of blogging-welcome! Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of this blog and stay informed.

TO MAKE A COMMENT: At the bottom of each post (a post is a new story or event added by someone. It will have a title and then text following) you will see "Posted by Creekside R.S. 3:29pm 0 comments." To make a comment, simply click on "0 comments" (The number will not be 0 if someone has already made a comment). A box will appear for you to type whatever you would like. Please note that anyone who clicks on "0 comments" will be able to see what you wrote as you will be able to see other people's comments. After typing your comment or question you will be asked to choose an identity. If you have a Gmail email account you can use that username and password or you can select "Anonymous." Once you select "Publish your comment" it will go to our email account for approval and then be seen on the blog shortly after. Rest assured this approval process is merely a technicality and we will not pick and choose which comments we publish.

TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS OF NEW POSTS: If you have a Google (Gmail) or Yahoo account and would like to receive an email whenever someone adds a new post, go to "Subscribe to" at the top left of the screen and click on "Posts." From the drop down menu select the option you want and follow the prompts (for Gmail you want the Google Reader). To receive notifications whenever someone makes a comment on a post, follow the same steps under "All comments."

If you ever have any questions on this blog or how to use it please feel free to send us an email at creeksidereliefsociety@gmail.com or talk to Katie Carr in person.
